7. The Semaphore Hotel –
17 Semaphore Road
This pub opened in 1867 as a two-storied stone building. The third storey and rear section were added in the 1920’s to offer holiday accommodation.
The second floor featured a fine dining restaurant, in addition to the Bistro on the ground floor, which is still in operation today.
